  • How do I renew a book?

​​Login to Primo using the "My Library Account" link on the library homepage.  Once logged in, you'll be able to see an overview of your account activity, including any materials you have out on loan.  Click the "Renew" icon next to each item you would like to renew or select "Renew All" if you would like to request a renewal of all items on your account.

  • How can I check if a book is on reserve?

Click on the "Course Reserves" link under "Quick Links" on the library homepage.  This will take you to a special section of Primo dedicated to course reserves.  Here you can search for the book or other item you'd like to borrow.  You can search by course name, course number, instructor, book title, or author.  If the item is on course reserve, it should appear in Primo and you can borrow it from the Library's circulation desk.  Course reserve materials circulate for two hours at a time and are for in-library use only.

If you don't find the item you're looking for, you can always check if it's in the main library collection.  If you're already in Primo, click on "Search" at the top of the page to go to the main Primo search screen.  Here you can search the entire library collection, both print and electronic, and see if the book is available outside of the course reserves function.
